Uptime Monitoring

Honeybadger's uptime monitoring periodically looks at your website to make sure it's available and fast. We'll notify you via email, Slack, PagerDuty, or another of our integrations when your site's down.

When combined with exception monitoring gives you a fuller picture of your application's health.

The most common use cases for uptime monitoring are:

• Ensuring that your main site is up and running
• Monitoring APIs and other back-end systems
• Exploring the effect that customer location has on your app's performance

Uptime monitoring also includes an optional public status page that can be used to inform your users of service degradations.

You can configure uptime checks via our web UI or our Uptime API.
