Rate escalation is a Honeybadger feature that keeps critical errors from getting lost. You can choose to receive additional notices whenever an error reoccurs 10, 100, or 1000 times. The actual number is up to you.
These additional notifications can be a life-saver when low-priority errors suddenly turn critical due to a change in the environment or user behavior.
You can use rate-based escalation with email, Slack, SMS, or any of our other notification channels.
