The Honeybadger Changelog

Monitor host metrics in Honeybadger with Vector

Monitor your infrastructure metrics—CPU, memory, disk usage, etc.—alongside your application data using Vector's lightweight data pipeline.

Here's how to configure it:

  1. Install Vector on your host and add the Honeybadger sink to your vector.yaml configuration
  2. Add your project API key and configure which metrics to send
  3. Start Vector to begin streaming metrics to Honeybadger

Vector automatically collects host metrics at configurable intervals and sends them to Honeybadger Insights where you can query them and create flexible charts and dashboards.

The integration works with any Vector-compatible host including Docker containers and virtual servers. You can also use Vector to ship log files and systemd/journald logs to Honeybadger.

See the Honeybadger docs to learn more about sending host metrics to Honeybadger with Vector.
